Azentiq.ai ("we", "us", "our") operates Kosmic (also known as AstroGPT), a Vedic astrology platform available at azentiq.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Password (stored securely using bcrypt hashing — we never store plain-text passwords)

1.2 Birth Chart Data

To generate your Vedic astrology report, we collect:

• Full name (of the person the chart is for)
• Date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth
• Gender (optional)

This data is used solely for astrological calculations and report generation. It is stored linked to your account so you can access your reports later.

1.3 Chat & Interaction Data

• Chat messages: Questions you ask about your chart are stored to provide conversation continuity
• Feedback: Ratings and comments you submit via the feedback form

1.4 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details. We receive only a confirmation of payment status, transaction ID, and amount from Stripe.

1.5 Automatically Collected Information

• Log data: IP address, browser type, device type
• Usage analytics: Pages visited, features used (via Google Analytics)
• Cookies: Authentication tokens stored in your browser's localStorage

1.6 Mobile Application (Kosmic for Android)

When you use our Android app, we collect and process:

• Birth details: Same as above (name, date/time/place of birth) — submitted to our servers for chart generation
• Authentication tokens: Stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences (never sent to third parties)
• Network requests: All communication uses HTTPS encryption to our API servers
• Location data: We use the Nominatim geocoding service to convert your birth city into coordinates. Only the city name is sent; no GPS or real-time location data is collected.
• Feedback data: Star ratings and optional comments submitted through the in-app feedback dialog
• No advertising SDKs: The app does not include any advertising frameworks or tracking SDKs
• Permissions: The app requires only INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions — no access to contacts, camera, microphone, files, or precise location

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate your personalized Vedic astrology report
• Power follow-up chat conversations about your chart
• Manage your account, reports, and purchase history
• Process payments via Stripe
• Send transactional emails (report confirmations, password resets)
• Improve our service based on aggregate usage patterns and feedback
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Database hosting (DynamoDB) — your account and report data is stored here
• Stripe: Payment processing — receives only payment-related data
• Resend: Transactional email delivery — receives only your email address and message content
• OpenAI: AI-powered report generation and chat — receives chart data (not your email or account info) to generate interpretations
• Google Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics
• Netlify: Website hosting and content delivery
• Render: Backend API hosting

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Data Security

• All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
• Authentication uses signed JWT tokens with 72-hour expiry
• Stripe webhook signatures are verified for payment security
• Admin access is restricted to authorized email addresses only

No system is 100% secure. While we use industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Account data: Retained while your account is active
• Reports & chat history: Retained so you can access them anytime
• Payment records: Retained for legal and accounting purposes
• Feedback: Retained indefinitely to improve our service

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@azentiq.ai.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications
