Typically 5–10 minutes. This isn't a simple lookup — 8 AI agents are computing your chart, retrieving classical references, running verification checks, and generating a personalized multi-section report. The wait is worth it.

Your name, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. Birth time is especially important in Vedic astrology — it determines your Lagna (Ascendant), house cusps, and the accuracy of your entire chart. If you're unsure about your exact birth time, Kosmic has a Birth Time Rectification feature to help narrow it down.

Most Vedic astrology apps use the Lahiri Ayanamsa (the Indian government standard). Kosmic uses the B.V. Raman Ayanamsa, which follows the classical tradition more closely.

The difference is about 1–2 degrees. For most planets this won't matter, but planets near a sign boundary may appear in the adjacent sign. This is not an error — it's a different (and deliberate) calibration.

Ayanamsa is the angular correction that converts astronomical positions into the sidereal (Vedic) zodiac. Dr. B.V. Raman — one of the most influential Vedic astrologers of the 20th century — developed his own Ayanamsa based on the Surya Siddhanta and classical star references.

Kosmic includes a Birth Time Rectification feature for uncertain birth times. Even an approximate time (within 1–2 hours) can produce meaningful results — the system searches for the most likely chart and gives you a confidence score.

Kosmic uses the traditional Vedic compatibility scoring system that classical astrologers have used for centuries. Enter your partner's (or anyone's) birth details, and it compares both charts across multiple compatibility factors. Works for any relationship type — spouse, family, friends, or business partners.

The Karmic Blocks tab analyzes classical Vedic chart afflictions — Mangal Dosha (Kuja Dosha), Kaal Sarp Dosha, Pitru Dosha, and others. For each dosha, Kosmic checks whether it's present in your chart, explains its effects on your life, and identifies any cancellation conditions (Nivartana) that may neutralize it. Remedies are included where applicable.

The Marriage tab provides a dedicated deep-dive into your 7th house, Navamsa (D9) chart, and Venus/Jupiter placements as they relate to marriage and partnerships. It covers likely timing of marriage based on your Dasha periods, spouse characteristics, relationship strengths and challenges, and any dosha impacts on married life — all derived from your actual birth chart.

The Saturn Watch tab tracks Saturn's (Shani's) influence on your chart — including Sade Sati (the 7.5-year Saturn transit), Ashtama Shani, Kantaka Shani, and Dhaiyya periods. It shows whether any of these transits are currently active, when they start and end, and what life areas they affect. Personalized remedies and coping guidance are included.

Yes. The Kosmic GPT tab lets you ask specific questions about your chart — career timing, marriage prospects, health concerns, current life-period effects, and more. The AI answers based on your actual chart data, not generic responses. It knows your placements, your active periods, and your classical text context.

Kosmic publishes AI-generated astrological predictions for prominent public figures — politicians, leaders, and celebrities. You can generate your chart without an account. However, creating a free account lets you save your report, access it later from any device, use the Kosmic GPT chat, check compatibility, and build a friends network. We recommend it — but it's not required to get started.
